At Apps4Us ("we", "our", or "us"), we are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy governs your use of the software application Pinhole Notify ("Application") on Android devices.
Pinhole Notify is built on a simple philosophy: your data belongs exclusively to you. The Application does not sell, rent, monetize, or harvest your personal information.

Pinhole Notify uses Android’s AccessibilityService API (BIND_ACCESSIBILITY_SERVICE) strictly for the following purpose:
- To render and display a hardware-accelerated visual overlay (the glowing notification ring) over the top of the screen, around the physical front-facing camera cutout.
- To maintain the visibility of the visual notification ring across full-screen applications, home screens, and lock screens.
Important Privacy Guarantee:
The Accessibility Service is NEVER used to monitor keystrokes, read text typed on screen, view confidential data, inspect personal accounts, or control your device. No user data accessed through the Accessibility API is recorded, stored, or transmitted over any network.

Pinhole Notify uses Android’s NotificationListenerService (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE) strictly for:
- Detecting when an app that you have explicitly chosen to monitor posts a notification.
- Extracting color palettes from the notifying app’s icon locally on your device to illuminate the corresponding glow effect.
Important Privacy Guarantee:
The content of your notifications (such as message texts, sender names, private emails, and media previews) is never stored, logged, analyzed, or sent off your device. All notification inspection occurs transiently in device memory and is immediately discarded.
2. Information Collection and Third-Party Services
The Application utilizes reputable third-party services that may collect anonymous diagnostic and telemetry information:
- Google Play Services: Used to manage app distribution, licensing, and security.
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Used to collect anonymous crash logs, device hardware models, OS versions, and high-level engagement metrics to diagnose stability issues and fix bugs.
- Google Play Billing: Used to securely process optional tips or in-app contributions. We never receive or store your credit card or financial payment details.
3. Local Data Storage & Preferences
Your customized app settings (such as ring position, radius, chosen colors, and monitored app selections) are stored entirely locally on your device using Android DataStore Preferences. Uninstalling the Application permanently removes these local preferences.
4. Children’s Privacy
Pinhole Notify does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate measures.
5. Changes to This Policy
